Vivien Leigh, Lady Olivier (5 July 1913-8 July 1967), was an English actress. She won two Academy Awards for playing “Southern Belles”: Scarlett O’Hara in Gone With The Wind (1939) and Blanche DuBois in the film version of A Street Car Named Desire (1951), a role she had also played on stage in London’s West End.
She was a prolific stage performer, frequently in collaboration with her husband, Laurence Olivier, who directed her in several of her roles. During her thirty-year stage career, she played parts that ranged from the heroines of Noel Coward and George Bernard Shaw comedies to classic Shakespearean characters such as Ophelia, Cleopatra, Juliet and Lady Macbeth.

Another of my favorite song….”Unchained Melody” by Righteous Brothers (Released in 1965-#4 US, #14 UK /”Hung on You” – #47 US Charts), a Bobby Hatfield solo that originally was on the B-Side of “Hung on You”, and “Ebb-Tide.”
The Righteous Brothers were the Musical Duo of Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield. Their emotive vocal stylings were sometimes dubbed “Blue Eyed Soul” Medley and Hatfield both possessed exceptional vocal talent, with range, control and tone that helped them create a strong and distinct duet sound and also to perform as soloists. Medley sang the low parts with his deep, soulful bass-baritone with Hatfield taking the higher register vocals with his soaring tenor.
